Specializing in fashion design(knitwear), art direction, and texture art
Janette Oh is a Brooklyn-based fashion designer and visual artist whose work transforms the language of textiles into sculptural, emotion-driven narratives. Centering texture as a primary mode of storytelling, Oh explores the intersections of craft, material memory, and identity through a multidisciplinary lens. Her art is not just wornâitâs experienced.
Janetteâs artistic contributions extend beyond fashion. She recently participated as an artist in Site Group Show 003: Grass Stain, showcasing her ability to engage with collaborative, multidisciplinary projects. Additionally, as the director of Epoche Movement, she explored the concept of aversion through an evocative sound-art film, culminating in a small screening exhibition.
From the tactile beauty of hand-knitted textures to art installations, Janette continues to push boundaries, creating work that resonates on both an emotional and conceptual level.
